Pat
is recognized for authentic and historical detail in her paintings.
Her true love is portraying people from all cultures and time
periods. Extensive research on her part ensures authenticity
in each painting. Pat's Cherokee ancestry has inspired her to
create a series of paintings covering American Indians.
She is referred to by many as "the Storyteller", she tells
of legends and stories passed down through the ages, and portray
them vividly in her work.
Pat operates her own art studio and has taught art
privately for
over 25 years. She currently teaches at Hobby Lobby in Webster
and Texas City, Texas. Her goal is to teach students to create something special that
comes from within. Those students that participate in local and
national art shows typically walk away with Best of Show
or 1st Place ribbons. Pat has been developing her
God given talent since childhood, desiring to learn more, so she can
reveal the visions that flow through her heart and mind.
Her art is full of magic and wonder and she captures it masterfully
on canvas. Her work allows the viewer to experience a time and
place, so tangible that one can almost hear laughter, feel love,
smell fragrances, and share a special bond.
Pat
lives in Santa Fe, Texas with husband Bubba. They
have three children: Tanya, April, and Misty. Each of the children and grandchildren have
been blessed with a creative imagination. |
